Paul Walker died in a car crash last November, having just completed the film “Brick Mansions.” It will be getting an April release, with the first trailer for it embedded in full above.

Directed by Camille Delamarre, “Brick Mansions” is actually a remake of the French thriller “Banlieue 13” (aka “District B13”). It’s set in Detroit in the future, when police have closed off a section of the town where all the criminal activity takes place.

While this has its advantages, it also has one huge con which, as you can see in the trailer above, becomes painfully obvious when police have to find a way to get inside this district to retrieve the kidnapped mayor and several other important public figures.

This is where Paul Walker’s cop character comes into play. In his mission, he will be aided by a conman played by David Belle, whose main skills seem to be Parkour and martial arts. The drug lord they’re going up against is played by RZA.

The trailer promises a very fast-paced, action-filled movie with a great OST. Will you be seeing it in theaters? Let me know in the comments section below.
