Nicolas Cage is back to his old routine of making questionable but terribly enjoyable B-movies and, this time, he seems to be ripping a page out of Liam Neeson's book – only that, if you ask us, he's doing less of an awesome job. Above is the first trailer for his new film, an action thriller directed by Simon West, called “Stolen.”
It also stars Josh Lucas, Sami Gayle and Malin Akerman and, safe to say, it deals with a raging former partner who kidnaps a girl to get his cut of the money they stole before Cage went to prison.
Predictably, the money doesn't exist anymore so he has to come up with another plan to get his daughter back.
“Stolen” will be out in theaters this September but, by the looks of this trailer, it would probably best go straight to DVD. What do you think?
