14 DAY TRIAL // The world needs bad people, to keep the other bad people at the door. This is just one of the many extremely intriguing lines included in the first trailer for a brand new HBO series called “True Detective.”
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson play two detectives but, as you might have guessed from the line I quoted just now, they’re not entirely squeaky clean.
The trailer doesn’t show what exactly their sins are but there are several hints about some “darkness” deep within. Murder and drugs are perhaps the best guesses.
The new series premieres on January 24. I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to it even if I have to admit that I didn’t get half of what was happening in the trailer.
The official website, Darkness Becomes You, is even weirder (in the best way possible) than the trailer, so I’d suggest you check it out if you like what you saw in the preview.
