Ever since season 6 of Showtime's hit series “Dexter” wrapped, fans have been dying to know whether Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) would turn her half-brother Dex (Michael C. Hall) in. We now have the answer to that.
Above is a brand new trailer for the upcoming season, which doesn't premiere until September 30, packing about a dozen scenes in under 5 seconds.
Of course, if Showtime thought it was being slick and a major tease in releasing this, fans are even slicker: below is a slowed down version of the same trailer.
We can't really say what will happen in the next season but one thing is certain: Deb won't be turning Dexter in because he's still working with the Miami PD as a blood spatter analyst.
There are various ways writers and producers might have used to make Deb forgive Dex, from the age-old (and predictable) dream / nightmare sequence, to accidents that lead to amnesia or a deliberate choice on Deb's part.
Discuss below which one you think will be used.
