This summer, Ridley Scott is returning to “Alien” with a new movie that was initially supposed to be a prequel or a reboot, but which is now marketed as a standalone project: “Prometheus.”

We now have two preview videos of the trailer that will arrive on iTunes this week.

Indeed, these are trailers for the teaser trailer, which precedes the trailer, which comes before the actual movie. In other words, get ready because the PR machine has been set in motion for “Prometheus.”

The two clips show Scott on the set of “Prometheus,” talking in very general terms about what fans are to expect from it.

Footage from the actual film is also shown, in what is actually a premiere.

“Prometheus” doesn't just mark the return of the “Alien” franchise on the market (in one way or the other); it also introduces an all-stellar cast.

Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Guy Pearce, and Patrick Wilson are all on board for the film that will premiere on June 8, 2011.
