Microsoft is once again trying to show us that it cares about the environment with a new program called “Recycle for Reward” that encourages customers to abandon their old gadgets and purchase new ones.

The campaign basically offers store credit for every user who’s ready to trade in old devices, such as laptops and tablets, mobile phones, audio players, gaming consoles, and games.

“To get started, simply bring your computer, phone, or other device to the Answer Desk at the Microsoft retail store. We will appraise its value based on condition and current market value. If it’s determined to have value, we will provide you with a Microsoft retail store credit. If it doesn’t have value, we will wipe it of all data and safely recycle it for you. The process is fast, easy, and free of charge,” Microsoft explained.

Customers can trade in their old gadgets at basically any Microsoft Store in the United States, so click here to check out the list and find the location closest to you.
