Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson has worked with some of the biggest names in showbiz, both in music and film and, as luck would have it, she’s not ashamed to do some proper namedropping for promotional purposes. Take for instance her most recent chat with E! News.

In between saying Cameron Diaz used a ghostwriter for her most recent book and boasting of how “proud” she is of Victoria Beckham for managing to juggle a busy career, being a mother of four and sticking with her strict workout routine, Tracy also sings the praises of her favorite celebrity client, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Anderson goes to great lengths to dispel illusions that, when it comes to eating healthy and fitness, celebrities somehow have it easy. They don’t, she says, and Gwyneth is the best example of that.

“Well, she is just so dedicated, and what’s great with her is that she’s so consistent, focused and she actually puts the work in. There is not a trick, and everyone is just not genetically blessed,” Anderson explains.

“Gwyneth had some problem areas when I first met her, and now she is in great shape. Some people look at celebrities and they think ‘oh, they have it better than me,’ and it’s just not true! Some celebrities are doing some unhealthy things. But someone like Gwyneth, I like to celebrate because she is really just a good example,” she continues.

Anderson has said before that, when she met Gwyneth for the first time, she had several major problem areas even if, fully clothed, she seemed to have a near-perfect figure. Two of them were her abdomen and her backside.

Today, besides sticking to a very strict diet, the actress works out six days a week for at least one hour and 15 minutes. Hey, no one said looking this good comes easily.

“For eight years I have designed a new program for her every ten days, and she does it six days a week. It’s not two hours, it’s more like an hour and fifteen minutes,” Anderson says.
