Kim Kardashian worked with Tracy Anderson for the duration of her pregnancy but she’s not exactly itching to get back to the gym, Anderson herself admits in a new interview with Us Weekly.

The reality star, who gave birth to a baby girl in mid-June, is now at home enjoying the experience of being a first-time mommy (with rapper beau Kanye West by her side, no doubt), but she will soon have to start working on losing the extra weight.

Anderson, who has worked with the likes of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow, tells the publication that she has no doubt that Kim will shed the excess weight in no time.

However, right now, this is the last thing on her mind, the celebrity trainer comments.

“It's a tough time, and a lot of women feel like it's a huge mountain to climb to get back, but Kim, surprisingly, has had the totally opposite reaction to other moms,” she says.

“She's like, ‘We're going to be so good. It's fun, I feel great!’ She just loves the whole process. From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she's just not...,” Anderson continues.

“She's in baby heaven. She's excited to get started, but she's really calm about it all,” she says.

When North West will be 5 weeks old, Kim will probably start working out. It will be gradual at first but Anderson stresses that strengthening the abdominal muscles is a must.

She will do 4 weekly workouts for a while and then slowly go up to 5 and 6 a week.

Nonetheless, Kardashian’s workout routine will also be tailored to her preferences and body type, which means “she’s not going to be doing any typical crunches or anything like that.”

If fans remember, Anderson said once before that she would not be turning post-pregnancy Kim into a stick-thin Hollywood-type because she would not want her to lose her trademark curves.

“Kim is super motivated. She's all in. Pregnancy is actually an opportunity for women to look better than ever. And [Kim] will,” Anderson says.
