Tracker, a semantic data storage for desktop and mobile devices that uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies using Nepomuk with SPARQL to query and update the data, has just reached version 0.14.3.

The number of changes in Tracker 0.14.3 is staggering, including bug fixes and new features.

Highlights of Tracker 0.14.3:

• It's not clear if users are searching within file names or file contents; • --disable-miner-fs build option has been added; • A fix that caused the application to consume >3.8 GiB of disk for meta.db has been repaired; • --plain-text-content || -c option has been added; • XDG directories set to $HOME are now ignored.

A comprehensive list of changes can be found in the official announcement.

Download Tracker 0.14.3 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
