If you either lost your phone or it has been stolen, the Easy Locator application will help you locate it, even if it doesn't include a built-in GPS receiver. Developed by Melon Mobile (formerly WebGate JSC), Easy Locator is fully compatible with the BlackBerry operating system and requires minimum resources. Furthermore, you will be able to track even larger objects, like your bag or your car, in case you're leaving the smartphone with Easy Locator installed in any of them.

Easy Locator will install easily and functions discreetly in the background consuming minimum resources. More importantly, with the help of the software, users will be able to remotely find out where their phone is at a certain moment. After the installation, they can track their phone by sending a simple SMS command from any other one.

The installation of Easy Locator on the device that is used to send the SMS message is not necessary. After sending the SMS message, the application will respond back with an SMS containing a link to a map with the phone's location and its coordinates.

In case your device doesn't have a built-in GPS receiver, users will still get cell ID based coordinates. Easy Locator is excellent in case you wish to be tracked by someone you know, or if you simply want to track a friend or an employee. What is more, the application can be used to monitor your child when they’re leaving school. Last but not least, Easy Locator is able to locate your stolen or lost device.
Easy Locator can be downloaded as a trial version limited to seven days of use. The full version of the software is unlocked with a registration key provided upon purchase. The license is based on a unique device IMEI and cannot be retrieved and applied to other handsets. The full version of the applications can be acquired for USD 2.99.
