The 2012 Detroit Auto Show is definitely the place where important automakers will brag about their latest green technologies applied to a new generation of awesome-looking hybrids.

In order to capture the attention of a large segment of potential buyers, Toyota has recently launched a teaser video offering only a few images and no technical details for its expected NS4 Plug-In Hybrid concept, which will be unveiled during the prestigious auto event.

Although the automaker is very secretive and wants to keep clients and the competition in suspense, GreenPacks suggests the NS4 hybrid concept could exploit the same drive-train technology displayed by Prius.

The only thing certain is that the Advanced Design Centre of Toyota has managed to create a new eco-friendly prototype with a sleek design.

The major company thinks the 2012 Detroit Auto Show is a great opportunity to showcase its Prius C, in an attempt to highlights its contribution to the development of green vehicles, with a minimal impact on the environment.
