The car's front was flattened by the war machine

Just yesterday, a Toyota hatchback made the mistake of picking a fight with a tank. As made evident by the photo accompanying this article, the four-wheeler came out losing.

Its front was pretty much squashed by the war machine. In case anyone was wondering - or had any doubts about it - the tank walked away from the scene of the battle unharmed, not one scratch on its armor.

This confrontation between the car and tank happened in Augustdorf, Germany, Metro informs. The Toyota hatchback's driver was an 18-year-old girl who was just then practicing her skills behind the wheel.

Local authorities say that the tank mounted the car when the 18-year-old learner driver failed to hit the brakes and pulled out in front of a column of military vehicles casually cruising through Augustdorf.

Because of a little something scientists call inertia, the tank's driver couldn't get the war machine to stop dead in its tracks in time and so the Toyota ended up being flattened. Luckily, nobody was injured.

It is understood that the damage the tank caused the hatchback amounts to approximately €12,000 (over $13,000). Once put back together, the four-wheeler will probably once again take to the road.

As for the 18-year-old learner driver, it's safe to say that it will probably be quite a while until she works up the courage to get behind the wheel of another car.
