Bureaucracy takes on new meanings in the small town of Burry Port, Carmarthenshire in Wales, where a nine-inch wide parking spot has been created.

“You could just about fit a bike in there sideways - or maybe a pogo stick,” one resident describes. You have to see it with your own eyes to believe it, which is why I provided the photo above.

Locals have gathered that only a toy car could fit in the space and they are dubbing this the latest in “bureaucratic nonsense.”

The spot was created when, on the one side, city workers painted the lines up to a specific point, then, on the other side, a set of parking spots on a private road was outlined.

According to the Mirror, a small area was left outside the grounds of both public and private territory.
