The folks over at SuperVillain Studios have just released in important update for Tower Wars strategy game for PC. The game is currently available for purchase via Steam for only 6.99 EUR.

Although Tower Wars offered a multiplayer mode right from release, players could only battle each other in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 ranked or unranked matches.

With the latest update, players will be able to join up with their friends to protect the rum in the new 1-3 player co-op map, Royal Rum-Bowl.

In addition, there are 3 new leaderboard for solo, duo and trio scores where players can compete. A new environment, achievements and music have been included as well.

“Featuring the new and improved steel plate hex, state-of-the-art craftsmanship of the KING’s own forges! Unfortunately, it has virtually no affect on towers built upon them... it simply has the appearance of being tougher.” More details on the update here.
