The BlackBerry Tour 9630 has been around for less than one week, yet it seems that the handset has become already popular enough to determine developers to come up with software solutions that offer support for it. One of them is ‘The Missing Sync for BlackBerry’ application that comes from Mark/Space for those who own a Tour and work every day on a Mac computer.

The Missing Sync for BlackBerry, as many of you might already know, comes with support for synchronizing contacts, calendars, notes, photos, music and more, so that users can rest assured that their new BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone and their Mac are on par at all times in terms of music, photos and other files. In addition, the company says, the Mark/Space Proximity Sync technology is able to sync a Mac with a Tour via Bluetooth.

The award-winning desktop and handheld synchronization software also offers users the possibility to transfer and sync media files between their Mac and the Tour, not to mention popular items like Address Book, Microsoft Entourage, iCal, iTunes and iPhoto.

When it comes to Bluetooth syncing, Mark/Space notes that it will be performed automatically and wirelessly at all times when the BlackBerry Tour comes near the Mac computer. Moreover, the process will be performed even when the Tour is inside a bag or jacket pocket, something that is both convenient and hassle-free.

The Missing Sync for BlackBerry can be downloaded for your Mac computers for a price tag of USD $39.95. Those who already own a Mark/Space product are enabled to perform a “crossgrade” to The Missing Sync for BlackBerry for a fee of USD $29.95. The requirements for Mac include Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger or later; Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard or later; iTunes 6.0 or later for music syncing, iPhoto 5.0 or later for photos. As for BlackBerry devices, they need to have the OS 4.2 or later.

The Missing Sync for BlackBerry is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link.
