The story is set eight years after a great demon emerged from the underworld, wreaking havoc on the world. The protagonist and other main characters are some of the final lines of defense against the horde of demons.
Toukiden: Age of Demons is a third-person monster hunting game that has groups of players and NPCs form groups and fight demons together.
Players can customize their armor, weapons and skills, and special abilities can be obtained during the course of the game.
The Slayers organization has been secretly fighting the Oni for more than a thousand years, and the hunters refer to themselves as the “demons who slay demons,” according to the announcement on PSBlog.
Toukiden: Age of Demons will be available for the PlayStation Vita starting February 11 in North America and February 14 in Europe.
