We’ve already told you that a beta of the popular TouchDown email client for Windows 8 had been released, but the app has finally arrived in the Store for users of Microsoft’s latest operating system.

TouchDown for Windows 8 comes with a great feature package, including support for multiple data types, such as email, calendar, contacts and tasks, and notes syncing for Exchange 2010 servers.

In addition, the app features Exchange ActiveSync policies such as PIN, Remote Wipe, and data encryption of corporate data.

The application works on all Windows 8 versions, including x86 and x64 builds, but also on Windows RT, which means that owners of Windows tablets can install it too.

TouchDown for Windows 8 isn’t quite cheap, as a full license costs $19.99 (€14.75), but a trial version is also available in case you want to have a look at the app.
