Touch for Android, previously known as Ping Chat, has just been updated with a few new tweaks and general improvements.

Developed by Enflick, the application allows users to keep in touch with their friends via unlimited text, video and voice messaging. Touch is available for Android, iOS and BlackBerry platforms, which makes it more useful.

The latest update for Touch adds image previews for Android Jelly Bean system notifications. In addition, it brings shortcut feature for quick access to emoticons in conversations.

Last but not least, developers claim they have improved scrolling performance for a much smoother user experience.

The new Touch 3.4.2 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store, and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
