The development team at The Creative Assembly announces that it is launching patch 8.1 for Total War: Rome II, designed to once more fix issues with the strategy title while improving the overall game experience.

Gamers will experience a smaller number of crashes after it is automatically downloaded and applied via Steam and they will also have to face Artificial Intelligence controlled enemy factions that are smarter when setting goals and launching raids in both the main campaign and in the Gaul scenario.

There are more changes linked to the user interface and the actual tactical battles that are detailed in the official wiki for Total War: Rome II.

The Creative Assembly game was in pretty rough shape when it was first launched, especially in terms of performance, but the studio has pledged to fix all issues via patches and now the entire experience is much smoother and more enjoyable.
