Video game developer The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA announce that they are launching patch 7 for their strategy title Total War: Rome II, designed to solve a number of remaining issues with the game, while also improving overall performance.

The team is also launching a massive rebalancing project, meant to make the tactical battles last longer and feel more meaningful, with the player able to deploy more complex plans.

The full list of changes is quite extensive and it reveals information on which crashes have been eliminated and which units have received the biggest changes.

The Creative Assembly says that the modifications made to Total War: Rome II are based on the feedback coming from the dedicated player community that has stuck with the game since it launched.

The studio is also preparing to release more DLC for the strategy experience in the near future and the patching process will continue.
