Gameloft’s Total Conquest is experiencing quite a terrific success in the Windows Store, as it received thousands of downloads and nearly 800 ratings in just a few weeks since launch.

The game has received another update today, so the new version is now being delivered to users via the store. The parent company hasn’t unveiled any release notes, but it’s safe to assume that it’s trying to address some bugs and boost performance on both desktop computers and tablets.

“Total Conquest is an exciting and strategic social game where you are a Roman governor developing your own city-state and army. But with Caesar dead, there’s no more playing games: You’ll need to join a powerful Legion -- or forge your own -- to defeat your enemies, protect your lands, and reign supreme,” the game description reads.

Of course, the new version is being delivered to users of both Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, so you can download Total Conquest right now regardless of the device you’re using.
