Total Commander has received a brand new beta version today, so in case you’re running the pre-release build of the app, make sure you get it as fast as possible.
Just like it happens with any beta, Total Commander 8.50 beta 7 is mostly supposed to fix bugs found in the previous releases, which means that performance improvements should be spotted after deploying the update.
For example, closing or minimizing search dialog caused a stack overflow error on Windows 9x/ME, while using Win+Cursor down while copying, searching or synchronizing only minimized the copy dialog, not the main window.
Of course, Total Commander 8.50 beta 7 continues to work flawlessly on basically all versions on Windows on the market, including the newly-launched Windows 8.1.
