Minor problems targeted, more serious stuff also repaired

For those antsy for the stable release of Total Commander 8.0, the wait is not over yet, as the developer launched beta 19 of the file manager. It mostly fixes stuff, but there are new additions as well, such as the FTPS support even after clear command connection or showing FireWire-connected HDDs as external drives.

As usual in the past few betas, most of the repairs don’t run too deep in this release either but take care of finer details. Of the more important fixes, beta 19 for Total Commander 8.0 eliminates memory leak occurring when searching with regular expressions. Also serious was a bug that caused a crash in standalone when closing rename box with ESC.

The issues solved in this release affected both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of the application. You can check the full release notes on this page.
