Brief Fixing in this build may hint at a pre-release of the stable version

Total Commander 8.0 has been in beta development for quite some time now (September 2011). The current build, beta 17a, could mark the beginning of a more refined verification of the application, pre-release stage.

The fixes brought to the table by the latest beta build are few and attend to what some might consider minor issues. Some of them include adjusting of the header widths on restore, if screen resolution is changed or a bug causing colors to be saved incorrectly.

Other improvements available in this release refer to adding an item to the directory hotlist. In one case selecting the submenu would not work when the submenu was opened twice, while in the other addition or removal of an element could remove all items.

The previous beta build took care of a larger number of bugs, which can be viewed here.
