Toshiba's Digital Products Division just introduced a classy budget touch-based laptop, the Satellite NB15t, aimed at students, travelers and others who are always on the go. Engadget reports that the new slate offers an 11.6-inch touch display and is of course especially optimized to run Windows 8.

Under the hood, the NB15T packs the Intel Celeron N2810 dual-core processor. There's 500GB of space available with 4GB of RAM, so users can both work and play, or stream media.

Because the laptop aims to offer as much mobility as possible, it provides Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports. An HD webcam is also incorporated into the device.

Vice President and General Manager of PC Client Group at Intel Corporation Navin Shenoy vouches for the efficacy of the processor found in the new laptop saying that, “our latest Celeron processor offers solid performance and great battery life, while consuming less power.”

He goes on to explain that the affordable price is due to the new Bay Trail platform, which offers a set of great features for a decent amount of money.

The new laptop will be priced starting from the super convenient $378 / €283 and will become available to consumers in November. Keep an eye out for it.
