Toshiba wants to extend its grip on the business market, and this week it has introduced two new models from its Portege series of laptop/tablet convertibles, the Z10t 12Z and 12W.

The new models are revamped versions of last year’s Portege Z10t and both run Windows 8.1 Pro out of the box, notes TabletHype. The duo can be used in tablet mode or notebook mode, the switch being achieved by snapping on and off a keyboard dock.

The two flippers come boasting an 11.6-inch IPS LCD display with a capable full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a coating that should prevent annoying reflections.

The most notable difference between the two models can be spotted in the storehouse department, as the 12W model has an Intel Core i5-4210Y processor combined with 128GB of internal storage, while the 12Z draws power from an Intel Core i5-4300Y processor with 256GB of storage memory.

Moving on, both convertibles have Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, SD card reader, two USB ports, HDMI, microHDMI and dual cameras (webcam in front and 3MP on the back).

The 12W model is expected to arrive with a €1,749 / $2,363 price tag, while the 12Z will sell for a substantial €2,049 / $2,768.
