Toshiba Corp., the worldwide recognized innovative company regarding card technology, collaborating with Toshiba America Electronic Components, has put in a great deal of time and effort in producing new, highly advanced card solutions.

Therefore, it is now going to release the new 16GB microSHDC card, which may not be too impressive to most, but it will also release the 8GB and the 16GB ultra fast data read&write solution. This can’t but be a very well welcome improvement to the card technology. Those constantly using their mobile cards know exactly why this is such a great feature.

The solution is going to greatly improve the delivery speed of data when shooting continuous still images, or when making video recordings. This translates into faster response time and maximum, for now, storage space, and probably even better capabilities in the near future. Such news can only bring excitement to all mobile users, who probably have been waiting this for quite a long time now. The other thing worth mentioning is that all these new SHDC cards respect the SD memory standard, while the two fast delivery ones are rated as class 6 ultra fast speed. The maximum data writing speed is of 20MB per second.

All these new releases comply with all market demands, which is not an easy to be accomplished task, and the timing for their release couldn't have been better, since the request for such devices is increasing considerably now. The microSHDC cards will be “accompanying” all mobiles supporting such technologies, while the SHDC cards will be available for mostly all digital products, again, that support such features. Through these developments, new services and applications can be designed and implemented for both mobile and digital devices users.

The production for the SHDC memory cards is due to start next month, while the manufacturing for the microSHDC ones has been postponed until January.
