Toshiba already has quite a few tablet devices in its arsenal, but this hasn’t stopped the maker for releasing yet another slate that packs a 10.1-inch screen and runs Microsoft’s Windows 7 Professional operating system.

Just like most other Win 7 slates out there, Toshiba’s creation, which was dubbed the Dynabook WT301/D, also targets business users so it comes pre-installed with various software fit to fulfill this role.

This includes the Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 productivity suite as well as a series of remote management tools.

Hardware wise, Liliputing reports that the Dynabook WT301/D is powered by an Intel Atom processor that is paired together with 2GB of DDR3 memory.

Toshiba hasn’t unveiled the model of this CPU, but this is expected to be one of the Z-series Oak Trail processor that Intel has designed specifically for tablet use.

Using such a chip in combination with the 64GB mSATA solid state drive installed should help a great deal when it comes to improving the battery life of the Dynabook WT301/D, but sadly at this point in time we don’t have any running time estimates.

The rest of the features list includes Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity, a front-facing VGA webcam, a 1.3-megapixel back-mounted snapper, stereo speakers, as well as USB and micro HDMI ports.

The 10.1 inch screen has a native resolution of 1280x800 pixels and is LED backlit, but the tablet can also support external displays with a 1080p resolution.

Toshiba plans to launch the Dynabook WT301/D tablet in Japan in January of 2012, but so far no information regarding pricing was made available. We also don’t know if the slate will ever make it out of Japan.
