Sometimes, a company will perform so well in a certain area that they will end up receiving special recognition for their accomplishments, and this is what has happened to Toshiba, courtesy of the Business Technology Association (BTA).
Every year, the Business Technology Association carries out surveys in order to establish which company is the best product line provider.
This once, the Channel’s Choice Superior Performance Award as a Primary Product Line Provider was handed out following the analysis of about 390 surveys with office technology dealers from the US.
For those that do not know, BTA Channel’s Choice Awards use feedback from independent office technology dealers that represent all copier and multifunction (MFP) vendors.
The above mentioned dealers were asked to rank their primary and secondary vendors in Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line, and Inventory (key performance categories).
The result painted Toshiba as the overall winner for the firth year straight,
"Congratulations, once again, to Toshiba for going above and beyond in support of BTA dealers,”
said Brent Hoskins, executive director, BTA, and editor, Office Technology magazine.
“After five consecutive years of winning BTA’s top award, it’s clear that Toshiba is truly dedicated to providing top-notch service, support, products and programs to its dealers, and ultimately, customers.”
The awards were presented at the recent Winter break 2011 even in Orlando, Florida. There, Toshiba took home the top award, plus three others, having dominated all but one of the four areas named above, that being Product Line.
“More than anything, we are extremely thankful for the consistent recognition we have received from our independent dealers,” said Mark Mathews, president and chief operating officer (COO), TABS.
“The fact that dealers take the time out of their busy day to recognize the hard work and effort of the Toshiba team to create valuable programs, products and processes, is something that we will never take for granted, no matter how many times we win.”
