2-in-1 machines are too main stream for you and even Acer’s new 4-in-1 Aspire Switch 10 has a slim chance of satisfying your expectations in terms of versatility?

Well, how about you take a look at Toshiba’s new Dynabook Kira L93 (via Tweakers), a machine that comes with a whopping seven modes of use, including notebook, tablet, desktop, canvas, flat, tent and standing.

The seven applications are possible because the Kira L93 comes with a detachable keyboard and a stand that is attached to the tablet portion. On top of that, the screen can be folded with 360 degrees thanks to the flexible hinge (check out the image above to see what I mean).

In terms of specifications, the Dynabook Kira L93 runs Windows 8.1 out of the box. Under the hood lies a power efficient Intel Core i5-4210Y combined with 8GB of RAM and backed up by a 128GB SSD on board.

The 7-in-1 hybrid boasts a spacious 13.3-inch display and offers amazing WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). Furthermore, adopters will discover Toshiba has thrown in two USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI out and speakers from Harman Kardon. On top of that, there’s an optional pen thrown in the bundle.

In Japan, the model will become available in June, but there’s no word about the price, although judging by the specs I’d say it will be pretty high.
