After being made available for pre-order on Amazon, the Toshiba Chromebook is finally up for grabs in the US and is being offered by a number of retailers with prices starting at $280 / €205.
For example, Adorama sells the Chrome lappy for $280 / €205, while Amazon ships it for $288 / €213. Toshiba itself sells the Chromebook with the most expensive price tag of the bunch, namely for $300 / €222.
The Toshiba Chromebook is the first device of its kind to ship with a 13.3-inch screen (resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels) and receives power from an Intel Celeron 2955U Haswell processor combined with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of solid state storage.
Furthermore, the notebook embeds 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, webcam, HDMI out, SD card reader and a 52 Wh battery.
