Toshiba is preparing to experiment with user preferences, aiming to see if there is any point to tablets with screens larger than 10-11 inches in diagonal.

For those who don't know, the company will soon start shipping the 13-inch Excite 13 slate, otherwise called AT330.

It is this product that has passed through the hands of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and gained its approval.

Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were tested and found to operate as intended.

Now we just have to wait until June 10, when sales begin. Too bad the price will be of $625-650, not exactly a flattering sum (479-495 Euro).

Go here to read all about the hardware of this Android 4.0 tablet. You might also want to check this nice 8-bit sleeve case too. Not only is it good-looking, but it is also one of the few tablet cases that the Excite 13 will fit.
