Unveiled back in September at IFA 2011 trade fair, one of the thinnest tablet that will soon be available on the market, Toshiba AT200 has just received FCC's approval.

Official documents filed at FCC mention that the tablet is manufactured by Quanta, the same company that made Research in Motion's BlackBerry PlayBook, and the recently launched Amazon Kindle Fire.

The tablet is only 7.7mm thick and comes with a powerful 1.2 GHz dual core OMAP 4430 processor from Texas Instruments, as well as Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system.

Other specs of the 10.1-inch slate include: dual cameras (5MP and 2MP), HDMI port, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Toshiba AT200 is expected to hit shelves in Europe sometime in Q4 2011, while U.S. launch date and price options have yet to be announced.
