Zeiko Anonymous is back with more anti-piracy DDOS attacks

Zeiko Anonymous, the hacker whose main goal seems to be disrupting BitTorrent websites, has launched distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks against three other popular sites: BitSnoop, 1337x.org and RLSLOG.

The hacker started his “piracy attacks” after private BitTorrent tracker What.cd refused to give him an invite. Then he turned his attention to several other sites, including IPTorrents, PassThePopcorn.me, Broadcasthe.net, HDBits, What.cd, The Vault and SceneAccess.

A few days later, he went for even bigger targets such as The Pirate Bay, isoHunt, TorrentPortal, Fenopy, and BitSnoop.

Now, BitSnoop has once again been taken offline, along with the RLSLOG blog and 1337x.org.

Zeiko Anonymous hasn’t revealed his reasons for launching the DDOS attacks, but he did post this quote from the late Steve Jobs: “It is piracy, not overt online music stores, which is our main competitor.”

At the time of writing, all the sites appeared to be unavailable.
