The team behind µTorrent Remote application for mobile devices has just announced that it has added support for devices powered by Windows Phone 8 operating system.

Nokia Lumia owners, as well as fans that preferred the HTC phones powered by WP8, will be able to manage their torrents while on the go.

Aside from bringing the application on Windows Phone 8 platform, developers have added a new Offline mode, enabling access to the application when the PC client is offline.

Furthermore, several torrent control commands have been added, and will be available for users, such as pause and force start. The usual “bug fixes” are included as well.

µTorrent Remote 1.3.0 is now available as a free download via Windows Phone Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 7.5 and up. Check it out here.
