Torrent RT, one of the best BitTorrent clients for Windows 8, has received a new round of improvements today, making it easier for adopters of Microsoft’s operating system to download files via this protocol.

According to the official release notes, the new version fixes the torrent search feature and adds UPNP NAT port mapping.

What’s more, it features several design changes, so the interface should now be a bit more user-friendly and straightforward.

“Torrent RT has a clean interface, and requires virtually no setup. Just select a folder to put your downloads and you are ready to go. To start download, just open a torrent file or click a magnet link, and download will start right away,” the app description now states, while also pointing out that the app works on both Windows 8 and Windows RT.
