We’re not accustomed to pay for our torrent downloader, but BitTorrent proposes an enhanced client, filled with extra features incenting to shell out the money.

As the regular µTorrent nears a stable version, the company offers the chance to get the Plus edition at the exclusive price of 25 bucks, which also includes free subscription for 6 months.

Media streaming and secure remote control are entries already available on the feature set of the free µTorrent. What you get in the Plus version of the torrent client is built-in antivirus protection (powered by BitDefender), an HD media player, a media converter for Apple and Android devices and the possibility to remotely download content.

At the moment, the enriched version of µTorrent can be pre-ordered and you will be charged the moment the stable release hits the web. The regular price does not appear to have been set, so it might be a tad higher.
