BitTorrent client Vuze has received a fresh beta update from its makers, Azureus Software, featuring a new speed limiting option and fixed bugs.

According to the release notes for Vuze 5.3.0.1 Beta 3, the update adds an up/down speed limit option to the open-torrent-options dialog.

The update further fixes enabling logic for the force-start/super-seeding options, a relatively new feature that Azureus added to the new torrent wizard in the previous beta.

Available for free, as always, Vuze requires Java 1.6 or newer on any of the supported platforms. The app installs quite a few extra things and makes modifications to your system (such as it sets Yahoo! as your default search engine) and comes with ads, all things you need to note before downloading the software.
