We have recently learned about the Holy Lulz Crusade of Canada campaign initiated by Team Dig7tal and we reported that the hackers demonstrated vulnerabilities in government, law enforcement and university websites, in some cases leaking database information to prove their point.

One of the victims is the Toronto Police Department, whose entire database has been made available online after they’ve failed to respond to the hackers’ warnings.

“So we warned you multiple times on Twitter, with no response. Maybe you thought we were joking? Well we told you we weren't, so if you didn't believe us, well too bad for you LOL!!! We told you to release all the info on officers involved in the G20 arrests, but you didn't so hahahah jokes on you,” the hackers wrote.

According to one of the members of the crew, the breach was performed by a hacker called Cyan1d3, the operation being a joint effort of Team Dig7tal and AntiS3curityOPS.

The data dump comprises a single 38 megabyte file, but because it’s in text format and everything is scattered we couldn’t precisely determine the quantity of information it holds.

However, it’s worth noting that there are hundreds of record sets that in many cases include usernames and clear text passwords belonging to officers.

Besides the login credentials, arrest warrants, details of fallen officers, and other data is found in the massive leak.

“So yea, we told you but hey what ever more lulz for us. You've been the target of our Holy Lulz Crusade, and pillaged your servers we did. Enjoy! Much love, Team Digi7al and the Holy Lulz Crusade,” the hackers concluded.

They have stated that the Canadian attacks aren’t the only ones part of the Holy Lulz Crusade campaign. They plan to focus their efforts on the state of Texas, and the United Kingdom.
