Despite what we see every week on their True Tori Lifetime series, season 2, Tori Spelling and husband of 5 years Dean McDermott aren’t really working through their problems and saving their marriage.

With only a few episodes from the season to go and Dean’s announcement that he’s not coming back for season 3, word has it that their marriage is in the gutter, so we should probably expect a divorce announcement from them right after season 2 wraps.

Right now, when the cameras go off, so does their interaction.

“No love between them”

In the latest promo for the reality show (see the video embedded below), Tori and Dean get into another fight over his belief that she’s using the series to make him out to be the bad guy. He loses his cool completely and says she’s crossed the line regarding what should and what should not be documented on camera.

A concerned Tori nods in agreement, adds that she wants the relationship to continue after cameras stop rolling, and seems ready for the announcement that he’s going to make about not wanting to be on the show anymore.

That’s all a lie, insiders close to the couple reveal for Us Weekly. When the camera crew leaves the house, Tori and Dean become strangers. There is no saving their marriage anymore.

“There appears to be no love between them,” says one tipster. “When the cameras are off, they're cold toward one another.”

“They are barely on speaking terms,” another insider adds.

Tori and Dean, a romance that fed off the media attention

Since before the cheating scandal of last year that threatened to end the marriage once and for all, Tori and Dean made a livelihood out of selling details of their private life to the media. They’ve been featured together on several reality shows and built a business empire around that.

The scandal came with exquisite timing, just as interest in them as a picture-perfect family was starting to decrease, which is the number one reason so many people doubt the cheating ever happened.

For those out of the loop, a bit of context is needed right now: right before Christmas 2013, rumors started making the rounds that Dean had cheated on Tori with a woman from Canada, while he was there sans family on a working trip.

The woman, Emily Goodhand, eventually stepped forward and gave her version of the events to just one publication, in just one interview, after which she vanished from the face of the earth. In a world in which it’s so easy to find stuff online, she has no online identity. And her decision to give just one interview is weird as well.

This scandal was the starting point for True Tori season 1, with the second season picking up months after the two decided to stay married. Apparently, they still have issues. According to this new report, despite what we’ve been shown on TV, they are too big to overcome because these two are done for good.
