"Beverly Hills, 90210" actress Tori Spelling split up from her husband, actor/writer Charlie Shanian, after only one year of marriage, her publicist confirmed yesterday.
It appears Spelling, 32, and actor-writer Charlie Shanian, 36 separated one moth ago and Shanian moved out from their house. "The couple have been living apart since the beginning of August, " Tori's publicist declared to E!Online magazine.
Spelling and Shanian met three years ago, in Los Angeles, on the set of "Maybe, Baby It's You". The couple got engaged in November 2003 and married eight months later, before 400 guests in a lavish wedding thrown by Spelling's dad, TV mogul Aaron Spelling.
Tori Spelling appeared in a number of guest roles (mostly in her father's shows) such as "The Love Boat", "T.J. Hooker", "Hotel", "Fantasy Island", "Vega$", and "Saved by the Bell" before landing a regular part in "90210", a series co-produced by her father and Darren Star.
After the series went off the air, Spelling worked mostly in various independent films (often receiving praise for her performances) including "Trick", "The House of Yes", "Scream 2" and "Scary Movie 3".
As for upcoming work, Tori is scheduled to play tricky wife Charlie in the TV comedy, "The Family Plan". Commenting on her latest series, she said, "It's like an old-fashioned 1950s movie plot with Doris Day and Rock Hudson."
