Tori Spelling of the original “90210” fame has been admitted, sent home and then readmitted to the hospital after complaining of serious stomach pains that no doctor seems to be able to diagnose. Although she is in much pain, the star’s representative says fans should not be worried, as also does her husband, Dean McDermott, in a recent post on Twitter, as the New York Daily News can confirm.

Dean accompanied Tori to the hospital on the first visit, when she had to be taken straight to the emergency room. He later Tweeted on her condition, informing fans that the star had come down with some sort of stomach virus that affected the entire family. Tori was soon sent home, where Dean Tweeted again on her condition, voicing his dissatisfaction with doctors’ inability to come up with a diagnosis. Shortly after, Tori was rushed to the hospital again, as the pain refused to subside.

“A rep for the ‘Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood’ star confirmed the actress was admitted into a medical facility Monday night after experiencing stomach pains and returned the following day for more tests. ‘Just out of the hospital,’ husband Dean McDermott wrote on Twitter after Spelling’s first visit. ‘After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.’ Spelling, 36, isn’t the first family member to suffer what she calls ‘The McDermott Family Bug.’” the aforementioned publication writes.

On the night of the Emmy Awards, for instance, Dean too was taken down with the virus that he described on Twitter as “a really bad stomach virus,” the same e-zine notes. “We’re not ruling out appendix though. Keepin an eye on it.” the actor added on the same page at the time. Liam, the couple’s eldest child, aged just two, was also affected only two days later, but recovered from it in an amazingly short while, as Dean Tweeted.

“Kids immune systems are amazing. Liam got the flu last night, and now he’s fine. Simply amazing.” Dean wrote. The youngest child, one-year-old Stella, also came down with the same virus, again after two days and recovering quickly. As of now, Tori is the only one to have had such excruciating pains that a visit to the ER became necessary.
