Reality star Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are expecting their third child. After some speculation on Tori’s weight and her sunken cleavage, she’s taken to her Twitter to confirm the happy news.

It’s not uncommon for celebrities to take to their respective accounts on social networks to confirm that which some tabloids had already pointed out – and the same goes for Tori’s case.

Having one such account also means bringing the happy or sad news directly to fans, without the intervention of a publicist, which, in turn, strengthens the bond between celebrity and fans.

“I know there’s been a lot of speculation, so I wanted everyone to hear from me... Its official...Dean & I are PREGNANT!!!!” Tori writes.

As we also mentioned a few days ago, word had it for weeks that she may be with child: she’d gained some weight (and Tori has been notoriously thin in the last couple of years) and her breast implants seemed to have shifted.

Plastic surgeons (who never treated the star) stated that the change in the shape of implants can only be down to pregnancy, which is when they tend to droop.

“It looks like they’ve sunk and they moved. They’ve dropped. Pregnancy generally changes the shape and size,” Dr. Steven Fallek of NYC stated.

“Pregnancy impacts the appearance of the breasts in obvious ways – skin stretches out and thins, stretch marks may appear and implants may shift in response to these changes,” plastic surgery consultant Wendy Lewis agreed.

“The bigger the implant, the more chances of sagging after pregnancy,” Lewis added, pointing out that Tori should expect her implants to sag even more – that is, unless she considered a lift six months after she stopped nursing the new baby.

Tori and Dean married in 2006 after falling in love on the movie set when he was still married, a fact that, as expected, became a huge media scandal.

They have two children together, Liam (4) and Stella (3), but Dean also has another son, Jack (12), from a previous relationship.
