14 DAY TRIAL // Brazilian independent software design studio Swordtales has unveiled Toren, a dark fantasy action-adventure video game, headed to the PS4 and Windows PC platforms this May.
The game is being published by Versus Evil and follows the story of Moonchild, a little girl destined to undergo a haunting journey of self-discovery, climbing a mysterious tower.
Players will have to solve puzzles, defeat monsters, and struggle with arcane concepts while making their way up, trying to uncover the cause of time standing still.
As the story progresses and you climb higher and higher, the playable character will grow from an infant to a woman, expanding the array of gameplay mechanics and challenges, according to each phase in her life.
Furthermore, the Tree of Life hidden within the tower will also grow as Moonchild does, offering access to new areas and items.

Toren is built around symbolism, attempting to convey a dark fantasy story set in a unique, enthralling universe.
