It's a busy day for PC gamers. Two highly-anticipated games are now available for pre-load on Steam: Borderlands 2 and Torchlight 2.
Just as we were reporting on the former title, Runic Games tweeted the confirmation that gamers who pre-ordered Torchlight 2 should be able to pre-load it now.
Unlike the original title, Torchlight 2
features peer-to-peer multiplayer and now allows players to take advantage of custom mods much easier. And with the new TorchED, fans of the title will be able to make their own mods, thus adding more content to the game.
Also, developers confirmed Torchlight's sequel now features a significantly longer campaign and an improved user interface. The concept of “open world” is mentioned as well, in the form of “vast overland areas and multiple hub towns.”
Don't forget that Torchlight 2 unlocks on September 20, which means you will still have to wait about 6 days to be able to play it.
