14 DAY TRIAL // Runic Games has just revealed an official release date for its upcoming Torchlight II role-playing dungeon crawler, confirming that the game would be launched on September 20.
Torchlight 2 has been a long time coming, with developer Runic Games delaying it multiple times in order to tweak its gameplay.
While the studio had hoped to release the title shortly after Diablo 3 in May, that didn’t happen, and the studio once again avoided pinning a date on the RPG.
Now, Runic has officially confirmed that Torchlight II would be launched on September 20 onto the PC platform.
Expect a bigger announcement to be made later today. Until then, you can still pre-order the dungeon crawler via Steam or via the Runic Games website and get special pre-order bonuses, like a copy of the original Torchlight.
