Taiwan-based Topower, a manufacturer of computer power supplies, has just announced the introduction of a new high-capacity PSU, designed to meet the requirements of high-end computer enthusiasts and gaming fans. The new solution, dubbed Tiger 1200W, comes with a modular design and is ready to provide users with an impressive 1200W of power, ready to support any high-end computer system packed with
some of the latest hardware components on the market. The new Tiger 1200W is ready for multi-GPU gaming rigs and can deliver an efficiency of over 80%, according to the company.

“The beauty of this power supply is that it performs way beyond that specified standard and has a rating that out powers most power supplies in its class,” said Mario Gastelum, Product Marketing, Topower Computer Industrial Co. “We designed and utilized REMI technology to effectively maximize the electrical output to effectively harness the complete power of 1200 Watts. In addition, we developed PNT (Plug-N-Twist) Technology to deliver an easy to manage cable system that won't clutter your PC's interior.”

The PSU has been designed with a titanium mirror finish and comes with cables that boast an REMI cable coating, keeping the EMI interference from affecting other hardware components. The product also features a 120mm thermally controlled fan and six 12V(20A) rails, which can be set up into one rail via a switch, for increased stability. Thanks to its modular design, users will have the freedom of setting up their computer system depending on their power requirements.

Clearly built for performance and high-end computer enthusiasts, the new 1200W power supply from Topower is already shipping for a price tag of approximately US$200. The solution allows for a much-welcomed cable management inside the computer system, while providing the end-user with a high-capacity power supply.
