The whole point of making a high-end PC case is so that enthusiast-grade and/or gaming rigs can look as good as they run, and with performance levels going up, aesthetics and functionality have to do the same, hence Cooler Master's newest project.

Cooler Master has made a name for itself on the international IT market for its high-quality cooling and PC case products.

One of its more popular enclosure series is known by the name of Cosmos, which is, all in all, its best and brightest, having received acclaim in reviews.

What Cooler Master is said to be working on now is the successor to that line, dubbed Cosmos II, no doubt in order to build upon the level pf hype that the Cosmos already benefits from.

As the report says, it is, obviously, intended for enthusiasts and doesn't make any compromises just to reduce the price.

The Cosmos II will be made of high-quality, brushed aluminum, possibly combined with plastic, and will be larger than the original.

Overall, it will be similar, design-wise, to the current-generation casing, albeit with many improvements, most of which have, unfortunately, not been made clear.

What the folks over at Fudzilla were, on the other hand, able to learn was that a fan controller is present, along with extensive room on the inside for whatever, storage units, expansion cards (video, audio, network etc.) one may want to use.

Unfortunately, since the case is still in development, no pictures were allowed, so the actual looks of the upcoming product will have to remain wrapped in the shroud of mystery for the time being.

Either way, Cooler Master should finish things up by the end of May, at which point something more concrete will become known. Until then, users can spend time wondering how much the price will be (possibly between 250 and 300 Euro).
