The game dubbed by its developers as the best tennis simulation title ever released, Top Spin 3, has finally gone gold and can be purchased at retailers across North America starting the 24th of June. By being
available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS consoles, it makes sure that virtually any game fan will be able to get their hands on the game - it's up to you to choose the version you'd rather play like... forever!

Top Spin 3 promises to bring us stunning graphics and a revolutionary gameplay that contains innovative new controls, as well as signature player animations and styles. Of course, one of the most important things when it comes to tennis simulation games is the star cast brought by the developers and we must admit we're happy with what Top Spin 3 brings: Andy Roddick, Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova are just a few of the present tennis superstars who will be available in the game, while legendary players like Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles will be available on some platforms. To check the details on this matter, please read our previous report on Top Spin 3 here.

However, if you want to create your virtual alter-ego and start earning points for yourself, you will be able to build your look-alike with the in-game editor which features face sculpting and customizable swing animations, hairstyles, makeup, tattoos and grunts.

Also, the more technical details of the game include situation-specific player behaviors, revamped audio with enhanced crowd reaction, and precise, improved controls. By using the so called "Evolutionary Visuals", players will sweat, demonstrate fatigue and even accumulate grass or clay stains over their clothes throughout the match. The same technology will make dynamic weather changes possible.

As you can see, Top Spin 3 indeed promises to be a great tennis simulation. We'll check it out soon and see whether it lied or not.
