You know how you always come across various rankings with the best three, or five or 10 or 20, and so on and so forth, tweaks for Windows Vista? They all promise to deliver the power of customization and personalization right at your fingertips. Armed with such knowledge and with a brand new copy of Windows Vista you can start hammering away at the operating system and tweaking it to your liking. Well, just as the Oscars have the Razzies (The Golden Raspberry Award), the top Windows Vista tips and tricks have, are you ready, here it goes the "Top 10 Worst Windows Vista Tips and Tricks Ever!!!"

OK, OK, so I got a tad excited. Never mind, let's get down to business. I was browsing the Windows vista official website with no intent to cause damage or harm when I came across something that put a smile on my face. Microsoft is delivering its on version on the Top 10 Tips & Tricks for Windows Vista.

Right... El primero... "Explore the new Windows Vista start menu" (emphasis added). Say what? Since when is exploring the Windows Vista Start Menu, that has been around since God knows when, actually I think it was Windows 95, the TOP, el n■mero UNO Windows Vista tip and trick. Just click the Start sphere and glance over it and you're done.

El segundo... OK, I'm gonna stop with the Spanish, I guess it's Vista's fault. The number two is "Discover the new search explorer." Content filtering capabilities are nothing new to Windows Vista. The search pane made it in Vista from Windows XP. And since when does discovering a feature qualify as a tip or a trick?

"Experience the enhanced user interface," they mean Windows Aero and Flip 3D is the third entry in the Microsoft all time top 10 Windows Vista Tips and tricks. This makes me think that the Redmondians were at a loss of inspiration.

But it gets better, or worse. Better from a comical perspective, worse because, well, judge by yourselves. Number four: "Browsing with Internet Explorer 7 - Browse multiple Web sites." Help, anyone? Tabbed browsing? Huh? Does such a thing really exist? WOW!

"Print picture perfect Web content" is in the number five position and it's associated with the fact that IE7 has a new fit printing feature.

Number six is the Windows Meeting Space. These two features could get numbers 900 and something in a top 1,000 Windows Vista tips and Tricks, but here they simply don't fly.

Number sever, oh - I have a feeling that you'll like number seven - it's, and I kid you not: "Share a folder or file directly from your PC". Yes, apparently, in Windows Vista you can share files and folders across a network. This is truly an unprecedented tip and trick!

Microsoft XPS Document Writer is number eight, and you can view, edit and save XPS Documents. Oh, I just got shivers all over! I think I saw something similar to this XPS stuff, somewhere... I just can't put my finger on it!

Number nine: "Speed up your PC's performance. Windows ReadyBoost." this is in fact not a half bad tip, trick or tweak for that matter, but by association... Number 10: "Recover a previous version of a document." Another actually good feature that lets you easily revert to a previous version of an altered and saved document.
